View Drop Error

M

MartinG

Occasionally when a PM is updating a project after accepting resource time we
get a slew of error messages indicating that the view drop notification has
failed although the project itself seems to update OK. Collaborate Publish
All information pushes the changes into the tables OK. Anyone any idea what
might be causing this?

Dashes are bad. "GARDMAN" isn't. IMO, when you get an "Invalid procedure
call or argument" error, it's a save bet to be an "argument" error, which,
in my experience, is most often caused by bad characters or corrupted data.
Take a good look at the plan to see if you can find any anomalies like
way-out-there assignments. Otherwise, export it to xml and bring it back
into the enterprise.
