View Emal Address?

I'm using Outlook 2000. In Contacts, I want to see the email address,
not the person's name, in the Email box. Then I won't have to double
click in the Email box in order to see their address.

How can I do that?

That would depend on which mail support mode you are using, which you did
not post. If you don't know, look at Line 2 of Help | About.

Line 2 of Help > About says "Internet Mail Only."
can I have the contacts display the email address (with the "@"
symbol) instead of the recipient's name?

Then you're out of luck. IMO provides no access to the Display Name field.
Only Corp/Workgroup does.
