View formulas after applying Digital Signature.

I have a colleague that needs to add a digital signature to an excel
document. However, after applying the logic for the formulas is no
longer visible.

How can we show them, but still add a signature?

Thanks,
Dave

I don't understand what you are saying.

A digital signature is added to a workbook in order to suppress any macro
warnings.

How this would affect viewing formulas is not clear.

Can you be a bit more precise with your description?

Excel version, sample formulas that cannot be viewed and where are they located.

Gord,

Digital Signatures can also be used to verify no changes were made
after we completed our work.

- We use Excel 2007
- I simply added a sum below a column of values
- Applied a digital signature and saved the workbook.
- Formulas can not be viewed in the formula bar and cells can not be
edited.

My question is, how can we apply a digital signature, but also be able
to see formula logic?

Thanks,
Dave

Misunderstood the reference.

What type of protection has been applied in addition to DS?

Workbook protection?

Worksheet protection with hidden formulas and cell protection?

I have not had occasion to save a workbook with a DS attached so not familiar
with the process.

Help on DS shows how to view information in Word Documents but I don't see
anything on Excel.

I think it comes down to sheet protection settings.
