View Layers

It would be much simpler to have a way to be able to switch between layers
without having to go into View -> Layers and then painfully select / deselect
boxes. Isn't it possible to be able to see the choices as tabs or something
(refer most other not-so-good softwares e.g. SmartDraw, Gadwin Systems etc.).

The closest I could get was to customise and get a button on the toolbar.

Anyone with a tip?
