Hello,

I have multiple projects in the same file. Each project has identicle tasks
/ subtasks. I would like to view all occurances of a subtask called 'Final
Test'.
Appreciate if some kind individual can point me in the right direction.

Ant,

Setup a filter which looks for text "Final Test" in the task Name field.
Menu: Project/Filtered For/More filters... Button "New". See the "help"
button for best explanation how to setup this filter.

Hi Ant,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

Project/Filtered for all tasks/Autofilter. To the right of the Task Name
heading you will now see a drop-down arrow. Click on this and select Final
Test from the pick list. Make sure the spelling of every Final Test task is
exactly the same.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Let's assume the task names are absolutely identical.
An alternative to the other posts..

Project/Group By... Customize Group By...
Select Name (the task name).

Something to consider. Insert a spare text field such as Text1. In Text1
place information about the project name.. P1, P2, P3.

Now when you do the Group By on the task name, you will also see the project
it belongs to.
