view music on ipod in new itunes version 3.1.1

I just upgraded my itunes and cant figure out how to view my ipods library
when i plug it in. The summary screen starts up but why cant I see my music
ont he ipod like I used to when clicking on "kaseys ipod" in the last
version? I have switched the ipod to manual managing setting and back to sync
to see if it would make a difference. I am able to access my music library in
full, I just can't find the link to my music listed in the ipod. Any help is
much appreciated,
