Hello,

On his PC, a user can't see the page "View my Tasks" (the screen comes back
to the home page). When he connects on another PC with his acount,
everything display well.

What could be the problem ?

Thanks for help.

Hi,
Open IE --> Tools --> Internet Options --> Security Tab. You might want to
try to add the Project Server machine name to your trusted sites list.
Otherwise, set the following to prompt or enable:

+ Download signed ActiveX controls.
+ Run ActiveX controls and plugins
+ Script ActiveX controls marked safe
+ Access data sources across domains

See page 125 in the Project Server 2003 Installation Guide for client-side
configuration information.

See page 244 in the Project Server 2003 Installation Guide for a list of
ActiveX controls.

Let me know if it works

In addition to Manmeet's suggestions, make sure that MDAC is updated to the
latest version, Make sure that the Google popup blocker in not installed and
enabled, and that the user has not enabled the discussions bar in IE.

Hi there,

We are having the same issue, has there been any update on a solution? It's
an intermittent problem on affected clients, and no problem at all on other
clients.

Thanks,
Mark.

Hi Sarvesh,

Some good news, but no solution yet. We have been working directly with
Microsoft to resolve this issue, and they have today identified where the
error is from a netmon trace of activity on our server. It has been
escalated to an engineer and I hope to have a fix from them soon. As soon as
I have further information, I will let you know.

Cheers,
Mark.
