We have Server 2003, Exchange 2003, XP clients with Office 2003. All patched
up to date.
One of our users claims the following:
When any person has sendt her a meeting-request - the meeting has shown in
the calender as a tentative appointment without any interference or other
kind of "doing" from her side. Iow she claims that she didnt need to have the
request "activated" by marking it.
I know that a meeting-request will show tentative in the calender if a user
marks the request (not opening) in the inbox but here - the user claims that
she didn't need to do that.
Within the last month this functionality is now not working / not there
anymore and the user is frustrated due to the way she works with a lot of
outhouse meetings. Before - She could log into OWA and in minutes have a 100%
up to date view on accepted meetings and new request that showed as
tentative.
If this is actually a function - its brilliant - but I - nor my collegue -
has ever had appointments operated that way - so we cant tell wether its for
real or not and where to make any changes in Outlook to make it work like
that again.
Help in this matter is much appreciated,
up to date.
