View of the calendar and how to copy an event

M

Maerci

Hi there

As i switched from my PC to a mac, I'd like to continue working with outlook I mean entourage; therefore I recently bought the macoffice 2008.

Now 2 questions:
1) How is it possible to change the view in calendar, that means how can I reduce the hours so I can see the whole day? Actualy I can just see either the morning or the evening, but both are not possible.
2) How can I mark an event to copy or to duplicate it. I can see the item in the menu, but it's never possible to do it, so that means the event isn't marked? But even when I open it I can't copy or duplicate the event. Only deleting is possible. Also when I'd like to select multiple events for defining a categorie, it's not possible.

Thanks a lot for your help
Marc

Hi Marc!

Currently, you can not change the view of the calendar. This is a highly
requested feature and you should be sure to let Microsoft know you'd
like to see this feature in future versions by using the Help --> Send
Feedback mechanism in any Office application.

As for duplicating a calendar event, this is most easily done by holding
the Option key down as you drag a current event to a new location. The
Option key will duplicate the event rather than moving the original.

To select multiple events and assign a category at one time look for the
All Events view under Calendar Views in the folder list on the left.
This will give you a list view of your events and you can sort by date,
subject, etc. Select your events and choose Edit --> Categories --> Your
category.

Hope this helps!
