View options in Project Centre

Hi,
I have two queries if some one could help me with it.

1. How do i get rid of projects menu for the resources who do not have
permissions to view projects.

2. I am not able to find the use of Show: Outline level 1 to 10 in the view
options of project centre. What is that i am missing out

Hi Chris,

I'm interested in this feature so I jump in the thread.
Following your advice, I disallowed all the specified Global Permissions for
one of my Team Members.
The Projects menu disappeared in his PWA page: OK.
But now the user's Timesheet doesn't display any assignment! It may be a
little too restrictive for tracking progress.
Is not there a lack of permission somewhere?

My first query is solved.
However i think i was not able to explain the second question well.
In project centre under view options what is the use of Show: outline level 1.
How do i get outline level at project level. Hope i am clear this time
