View other users calender

Our set up is the following.
Server = Exchange 5.5. Clients = Outlook 2000 and 2003.
Problem. When a OL2000 user would like to look in a OL2003
user's calendar, there is a message saying that the folder
cannot be viewed. The user rigths is set so that everyone
can see the calendar, but not make appointments. I have
the feeling, that the problem occurs, when a OL2003 user
have another users calendar open, in multi calendar view.
