View Outlook Data From Outside of Outlook

I currently use Outlook 2003 for a variety of tasks, but often I have i
minimized or open on a different view and need to get information fro
within it (or elsewhere within it). However, I find it cumbersome a
times to have to go through all the steps to do something such as ope
an appointment, task, etc. Is there any sort of plug-in or tool that
can use to quickly access data I need from within Outlook without havin
to use the Outlook interface. Something like a floating or docked (t
my taskbar) toolbar where I can type in what I'm looking for or searc
for data and it will pull it up in the appropriate outlook form. I kno
Google Desktop offers something along these lines, but I don't like ho
it has to constantly index my computer. I currently use MuvEnum Addres
Bar (to replace the lost taskbar address bar in WinXP SP3) and using i
I can quickly launch applications in my start menu, run commands, etc.
Something like this but for Outlook would be great!

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

No need to post the same thing multiple times.

There is no application outside of Outlook that will allow you to view Outlook
items.

I use Lookeen and this tool has a quick launch icon on the right side of
the taskbar.
You can rightclick on this icon and directly type your search query.
That´s cool, but you only have the ability to search for
Outlook-contents not to start applications or something else.
