View Project Files

The majority employees using the Office server have Project Professional
installed and can access the project files. Every once in a while we need a
employee from another group to see the project plan but doesn't need Project
installed. Can the server show project files either through a link or by
direct upload?

Ahem... let me clarify...

The majority of our employees using Project Professional with Project Server
can access their necessary Project files. Every once in a while an employee
from another group needs to see the project plan but doesn't have Project
installed. Can the Project server be used to view files stored in the server
or uploaded through the browser?

Thanks,

Note to self: No more driking before work.

I am assuming that you are in a project server environment in which case
you can provide access to view the project through the Project Web Access
client.

If you are not using project server then look at the analyis toolbar there
is a neat Copy picture to office wizard that will allow you take a picture of
your project and embed in other office application e.g. powerpoint or word

I am not aware of a Project free viewer outside of these scenarios
