view public folder from my default view

Dave

Hi-

My administrator set up a public folder for me to receive email and meetings
for my program. To get to it, though, I have to click my way to the Folder
List and then through submenus. Isn't there a way to have it show up on my
default (Mail) screen so I can see if it has any mail? I clicked "add to
Favorites," but that Favorites folder is still in that same inconvenient
place.

Thanks!

you can stay in the folder list view and drag that public folder up to the
top of the Public folders to the Favourites area.

If you predominantly use the folder list view you'll save a lot of clicks
per day. You can get to mail, calendar etc through folder list.

If it's a mail/post folder (as opposed to Calendar, Tasks, etc), and you're
using Outlook 2003 you can also right-click the folder in your Public Folder
Favorites (you have to get it there first following Judy's instructions) then
select Add to Favorite Folders. This will put in the top section above the
folder tree when you're viewing your mail folders.
