Is there any way to view recent documents on the screen without having to
pull down the "File" menu on the toolbar? The commands in Word and Excel
are the same, but the results are different. Excel displays the recent
documents on the right hand side of the worksheet, but in Word, I have to
click on the "File" button to see the list of recent Word documents.

Thanks,

RossH

In Word 2003, you should select VIEW, then TOOLBARS , then click on
TASK BAR. That should do the trick.

Good luck
