View Resource Assignment in PWA

Sneha Satish

Hi All,

We are using the Microsoft Project 2003. In the Project Web Access when i
click on the Resources and select the option "View Resource Assignment" it
shows a blank screen and does not show the required report.

Our production server is a dual server configuration with the application
server having the the SP Version: 8.00.2039 and the database server having
service pack 4.

Pls let me know why i am not able to see the resource assignments in the
project web access

Hi Sneha,

We experienced that problem some time ago but it was due to ActiveX contols
and settings in the Security tab under Custom Level. " Not sure if it would
be the same for you but it is a start.

Hello Sneha,

Are you getting just blank screen or also getting any error message?
I hope you selected the resource names from list available on left
side box. You have to select name and need to click "Add > " button
and click on Apply button.

Please provide more details of this issue, so we can troubleshoot.

Hi,

I have added the resource, selected the all assignments, timesheet view but
still it shows blank. I have checked all the activex controls and it seems to
be fine.

Hi Sneha,

If you are not getting any ActiveX error and also not the permissions
error, in that case I can think only the following:

Click on "All assignments" from left menu. It seems to be now you are
in Current assignments setting.

Thanks

I have seen this too, and I had to either add or delete resources from the
selected list, and eventually, the assignment table was populated. I could
then work the list to its final form.

FWIW ...
