View Settings/Field Chooser Issue

Hello,

We happen to have an issue with the View Settings and the Field
Chooser.

What happens is when a user is selecting a field from a form in view
settings they get an error stating "The Operation Failed". The same
thing when they are using the field chooser. This only happens when
they use a text based field, however, when they choose a checkbox
field or a non text field, they have no problem.. What could be the
issue?
