View the Global Address List (GAL) in public folders

Hi, I'm using Exchange server 2000 and most of our clients are
Outlook XP (some are 2003).

I would like to add an entry in our Outlook public folder to make our
GAL viewable from all users in the network. For now, we can consult it
if we open the Adress Book, or when we type the name of the contact
directement in the "To" field. Is that possible ?

You would have to create a new contact in the public folder for each entry in the GAL -- and keep those contacts updated. Nothing is built into Outlook or Exchange to do that for you automatically. It would be a big job to do either manually or programmatically.
