View tracking information

Is there any way that I can generate a table for progress tracking which
shows the following information:

the task name
% of task work completed (the % Work complete field)
% of task work which should have been completed by a specified date (for
example, the status date) according to the baseline schedule.

I've looked at fields such as BCWS and ACWS, but it looks like you have to
enter cost information for these fields to work. I'd like the above progress
information for a project where I haven't entered any costs.

Hi Paul,

The only way I found when a customer asked me was to put 1 (and you could
even put the monetary unit as Hr) in the resoruces' unit cost

If you've chosen not to monitor costs, just enter $1 as the resource rate
for all your resources and you'll be able to use the earned value tools like
you want. The numbers will have a dollar sign but they'll represent work
hours. In fact, you can go to the Tools, Options, View menu and remove the
dollar sign from the figures if you really want to.
