View <> view?!

Access XP, Office XP.

I have a view defined in SQL-Server 2000. Using the Enterprise Manager, it
returns data as expected. I get a list of individuals and the county(ies)
in which they work - one row per individual/county combination.

When I link to that view via MS Access, the differening counties for an
individual from row to row are replaced with just one of the counties,
showing up in ALL that individual's rows.

This appears to be something new, never before reported in two years of
operation. Anybody got a clue?

I suggest you run Profiler to see if there is any difference between the SQL statements submitted
through QA (use QA and not EM) and Access.

Perhaps I mis-stated the situation. If I use Enterprise Manager to list the
rows in the view, the individual (separate) counties display. If I link the
SQL-Server table into an Access .mdb, then open the view (no SQL statement
involved), the individual separate counties are replaced by a single county
(for a given individual).

I'm not sure what SQL statement you are referring to, but I'll find our SQL
guru and try your suggestion.

It is impossible to show rows from a table without a SQL statement. In this case EM as well as
Access executes a SQL statement. This is what I suggested that you try to catch with Profiler.
