viewdrop folder not there?

I am getting the 9100 errors and I saw that you can go and change the
permissions on the viewdrop folder. I do not see that folder in my
installation folder. I am running 2003 w/SP1

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's below \BIN under the installation directory. By default, C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office Project Server\BIN\Viewdrop

Thanks for the reply Gary. I checked in the bin folder and there is no
viewdrop in there. The only folder in that directory is a 1033 folder.
Should I create a viewdrop folder?

Did you install the application? The default location is not the only
location it could be, however, it's the only location I'd have a chance of
guessing at! I wouldn't advise you to do anything at this point, without
knowing more about your system. What can you tell us?

I didnt do the actual install of the project server app but what I do
know is I did a search and did not find a viewdrop folder on the
server. The directory structure for the install looks like this
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003. In that
directory I have the BIN, HELP, and IIS Virtual Root directories. Does
this help or do I need to give you more info?

Nino:

In some installations, the view drop folder is placed on another server. Is
this a single-server installation? I don't want to advise you to do things
that might screw-up your production server even more.

Gary I did a search on our second server and found nothing Project
related or the viewdrop folder. So I believe that everything is on a
single server. Thanks for your help.

To anyone that might have the same problem. I just created the folder
in the directory and then set the permissions and it works now.
