Viewer 2003 - License Agreement Bypass

M

M

Has anyone discovered a way to avoid having the damnable Microsoft license
agreement pop up on first use of the 2003 viewer?

Thanks to Sonia, I've found the /S switch to start the presentation without
the damnable splash screen - but it doesn't circumvent the agreement. I am
trying to find a way to simplify things for users.

Many thanks,
Michael

Michael,

I appreciate it's really annoying.....but if there was a way to bypass it,
this may actually break the license/agreement of using the viewer.

Just a thought

But that brings up the whole question of the validity of EULAs in general.
Somebody needs to be part of a great, big legal test case that proves EULAs
are - as a group - invalid and unlawful insofar as probably fewer than 1% of
users ever actually read them. I can't imagine they are enforcable in any
legal sense. It seems to me they're exactly like the signs in a coat room
in a restaurant that says "We Are Not Responsible for Your Coat."

And - thankfully - this particular EULA only displays once. But what about
the second user of the same computer? They are using the software without
agreeing to anything. That has to be a violation ot the EULA itself. Call
the MicroCops!
