I’m using PowerPoint 2003 and auto running the viewer from CD. I have a “menu
slide†that launches 4 other presentations when text boxes are clicked (links
were established with “insert hyperlink, not action settings so I could
specify a neutral path, eg. File.ppt). The 4 files are 52MB, 53MB, 68MB, and
90MB respectively . The first 2 launch and play as expected. The largest 2
launch but play in the background while the “menu slide remains displayed.
Hitting “alt tab†brings them to the foreground. If I terminate them (hit
“escâ€) then relaunch from the menu, they play in foreground as desired. How
do I get them to run in the foreground the first time?
Alternatetively, how do I define a menu button to execute a switch process
(aka ‘alt tab’, in a macro or something since I cant assume the CD user will
know alt tab switches processes.) Again, this must all work with the viewer
and running from CD.
Final Note: All run correctly in the foreground when run from my hard drive
with PowerPoint. They don't come to the foreground the "first" time if
launched from the viewer with "run command" or even from viewer on the local
hard drive. Again though, they do the second time and a different 50 MB one
comes to foreground. Help, I'm at wits end and I don't have many......
