Viewing a slide a second time, the animation doesn't activate

I am working on an interactive powerpoint 'game' for use with beginner ESL
students. It involves matching words and pictures. When you click on the
wrong picture, a hyperlink takes you to a "Sorry, try again" slide. This
slide is used again and again during the 'game'. But after the first time it
is viewed, the animation and sound don't work.

What can I do?
