Viewing and Printing a report

First of all, thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

I created a complex report, pulling information from multiple sources on the
root of the report, and linking with information with 2 other sub-reports in
the details.

I can view the report but it will not print, giving me an error stating
....too many complicated elements... Funny thing is that in order to print it,
I made a macro Opening the report to print only and it works. It will print
out correctly.

Does anyone know why I can view it by itself and print it by itself, but why
I can't print it from the preview?
