Viewing Calendar and Inbox

K

Kelly Conroy

How do I set my Outlook up so that I see three panes on
the screen? One with the folder list, one with today's
calendar and task list, and another with the current e-
mail inbox? I want them all to appear on the screen at
the same time, so that when reviewing an e-mail, I can
look at my calendar without "switching" folders, to see if
I'm available for a date that I'm seeing in the e-mail I'm
reading.

Please help!

You can show the TaskPad in a Calendar view, so that you have both of those
showing in the same window. But you'd need to open the Inbox in a separate
window and then tile the windows to see all at once. There is no built-in
view that will show the Inbox, Calendar and Tasks in one window.

If you know something about programming, you might want to check out the
Outlook View Control, which might let you design something to show the view
you are looking for. Details for Outlook 2002 here:
