Hello,
There must be a setting that I am missing. In Northwind I can put a
function name with the following syntax =Anyfunction() and hit the
button to the right and jump to the function for editing. In another db I
can't. It goes to expression builder. Do you know where this setting is
hiding? Thanks so much.

It is in toolsptions somewhere - maybe the modules tab (I don't have
Access here to check).

I know it's in there somewhere, because it used to annoy me that I got the
choice for the expression builder. I never use that builder. Then I managed
to disable that choice, using toolsptions.
