viewing documents between different publisher versions

I have publisher 2000SR1 on one PC and publisher 2000 on another machine.
When I try to open files from the Publisher 2000 machine on the Publisher
2000SR1 machine I keep getting an error messages that says Publisher cannot
open files from a different version. How can i fix it???? Any help would be
appreciated
