Viewing long or bulleted notes in reports or other tools

I'm using project 2002 and can't get the complete note to appear in reports or when saved as an excel spreadsheet
I have added notes that appear on multiple lines or are bulleted and anything past the first line does not appear.
I tried generating a report with the details field (appears below the task) and I only get the text up to the first EOL
in the note. I then tried a custom report where I controlled the fields and widths. I made the notes field really long bu
still only got the first line. I also tried exporting to an excel spreadsheet. The notes field is converted to text (I could not
change this) but is also cut to the first line. I know I can use print w/ notes and get the notes on the last page but
I would prefer to generate a report with the task_name and notes only
Any suggestions on how to get the entire note to be contained in the new format

Don't put carriage returns in the Note.
