viewing "Markup" in Office 2003

hi,

is there a way to disable the markup for good? every time
I remove it, it keeps coming back when I open a new
document.

Hi Natalia,

First, if you are seeing markup then you do know this information is
stored in your document, correct?

Go to Tools/Options/Security and turn off "Make hidden markup visible
when opening or saving". Note this is a application setting and not a
document setting. If you email your document to another individual
they *will* see your revisions.

Keep in mind if you turn this option off you may accidentally send out
a document with tracked changes. If you work with sensitive
information then I would opt to leave the option turned on take the
second or so to select "Final Showing Markup" on the Reviewing toolbar
when necessary.
