Viewing of my calendar detail by others

We are running Outlook 2000 SR-1 and others can view my
calendar and see all of my appointments by selecting Open,
Others USer Folders. I would like to make it so that
others can only see that I have the time blocked off but
can not see what the appointment is. I know that I can
make them private, but that means I have to touch each
meeting. Not a good option.

Any idea if there are setting that I can change so others
can not see the name of the title on the appointment?

Thanks

Try this.

Remove the permissions from your calendar so no one else can view it.
Each person that needs to see your schedule but not the details can d
so using the 'Schedules' button in the toolbar. If it's not there, yo
should be able to add it to the toolbar.

From here they can add a 'group'. Name it whatever you want.
Once they've named the group, add the indivuals calendars that the
need to see. Maybe just yours. The view they will have will not b
the prettiest, but they will see everything from vacation to meeting
without any detail on each appointment. If you keep the curren
permissions set on your calendar, they will get the detail on you
appointments.

Hope this helps
