Viewing OLE object data

Matt

I have some relations with OLE fields. I don't know the
type of the object, and when in Access the field
displays "Long Binary Data". I want to view this data -
how can I do this?

Hi Matt,

I was hoping someone better informed would answer this, but no luck so
far.

Access's built-in mechanism for handling objects in OLE fields is the
BoundObjectFrame control on a form. If the records were created that
way, the control will recognise the type of object and launch the
"parent" application when needed.
