Viewing projects in PWA

L

Leo Roberts

I have saved on project using MS Project Pro and the file is shown as being
published. I can see the project using PWA but can not see the tasks after
clicking on the link. The error message that I received is:

"There is no information to display in this view

Either the project manager has not published the project plan or there is no
information in the project plan to display. "

Any ideas would be appreciated.

In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is devoted to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question,
did you actually publish the project using either Collaborate - Publish -
All Information or Collaborate - Publish - Project Plan? Let us know.

Hi Dale,

I not publish the project using either Collaborate - Publish -
All Information or Collaborate - Publish - Project Plan. Instead I did a project save which published the file to the EPM server.

Saving does not publish the project. You must use one of the Collaborate
options to actually publish the plan. Let us know if this helps.
