viewing style codes line by line in Word 2007

,In Word 2003, I used a template with customized styles for formatting
documents. In the "normal view" (under tools, options, "view" option, "style
area width") I was able to open a style box on the left side of the document,
using any margin size, which showed the code I used for each type of style
used on each line of my document in the case of headings and blank lines, or
the style used for each type of paragraph. In the 2007 version I have found
the style inspector but I have to actually be on each line to see the code
used. How can I view all the codes used in an entire document without
clicking on each line?

Hi Elizabeth,

The 'Normal' view, became 'Draft' view in Word 2007 with similar but not identical functionality.

You can turn on and set the width of the the 'style area pane' (strip) for Draft and Outline view from
Office Button=>Word Options=>Advanced=>Display
to display the paragraph style types on the left edge of your documents.
