Viewing Symbols

I am having an issue with the way some of my symbols are displaying. I have
a document with a box symbol. When the document is printed, it is used as a
checkbox. When I view the document on a Win XP SP1 system, the symbol
displays correctly. When I view the document on a Win XP SP2 system, the
symbol displays as an Ù± . I just found out that its not just in Word
docs...its even happening in Outlook. I have Office 2003.

Any ideas?

It sounds as if the font used to insert the check box is missing on one
system.
