Hi all
Running Windows XP clients, Internet Explorer 6 SP1
Visio 2002 drawings saved as webpages onto our Intranet server (IIS 6.0)
When accessed via file://servername/share/folder/diagram.htm the file is
displayed and scaled to the window, if you resize the window then the
image/drawing rescales and this works great! The problem is this is VERY
slow to load from the server I guess due to additional authentication
involved, etc.
When the file is accessed via http://servername/share/folder/diagram.htm
then the file is displayed MUCH quicker BUT the page is not scaled to the
window and it has to be shown in a full screen browser - no scaling.
Either way all the files work i.e. all the hyperlinking, etc within the
document BUT I need the functionality of both i.e. much faster speed and
also the scaling capability
Why do the published Visio files work like this or is this down to how
Internet Explorer detects and renders the page.
Any advise/assistance would be appreciated!!!
Thanks
Chris
