(Sung to the tune of "I Searched the World Over") I searched the
group over and I thought I found true help but that problem was
another so I'm back to square one.

No seriously: We get the following warning in our Project Server
event log about 58 times per second. I would like to figure out why.

Any thoughts?

JB:

Did you look at the view drop folder on Devap2? Is there an XML package
named "FC47E1DD-E107-46D1-BB99-8A1B8FDF0724.xml" stuck in there? If so,
remove it and see if it stops the problem. Then look at the XML package to
determine where it came from and why it's not processing.

Thanks for the reply Gary. It looks like the VIEWDROP folder is empty.

It's not able to put them there because the connection context was not
established. Incomplete installation.

Mr. Mohr

Gary,

I am having a similar problem but when I look in the viewdrop folder there
are about 50 items in there. What would I look for to resolve these error
messages?

Thanks!

The way to handle this is to copy the xml packages to a different folder,
and then delete them from the veiwdrop folder. Then, add them back one at a
time until you find the bad one(s). Open up the bad ones to determine which
project(s) is causing the problem.
