I'm new to OneNote. Not sure what to say just yet. Trying to like the
program, think the potential certainly exists.
I'm finding the page view to be less than ideal. I've created a page to hold
all the various documents in a project: word, excel, and powerpoint at the
moment. I don't care for the view, the way it shows all the documents on the
page. The information doesn't mean much to me. The icons are huge, the words
are small and few. Almost none of the titles of the documents can be seen
unless I right click on them. Hence I can't tell much looking at a page in
OneNote unless I individually right click on each file.
Many boxes in windows provide options for differing views, like detail,
list, icons, tiles, and thumbnails. Does such an option exist for a page on
OneNote?
I typically use the detail views. I don't like icons, waste of space and
don't mean anything. I like to look at full titles with extensions, the kind
of file it is, date, time, etc. I'm a "detail view" kind of guy. Hence, I use
the "explore" option mostly to naviagate around the computer.
I'm finding these pages filled with huge icons, partial wording, and not
much else to not be easily recognized. I can't seem to see much except a page
full of word icons, excel icons, and a few powerpoint icons. I'd really like
a detailed view kind of option. Does one exist for OneNote?
Thanks
