views-page layout vs. normal

When I am looking at a document in word, there always shows up lines which
show how the margins are set up and I am viewing "page layout". I get the
lines to go away when I am using the "normal" view.

Often I am sending documents to someone and I would prefer that they don't
view the lines and how I formatted the document. Is there anything I can do
about that?

You have no control over the way the recipient will view your work in
Word. Even having a different printer lying nearby is enough to ruin
the layout.
What I do is print as PDF and send 'em both. That way the recipient can
edit the content yet see it the way it left here. If they don't like my
feeble attempt at typography, they can change it, and not blalme me. If
they don't like the content, they can send it back to me and I'll fix
the layout. Sucky, but Word is not designed for electronic final
delivery.

Thanks so much.. I forgot about sending it as pdf..and then it looks
better...... in my opinion.
