This is posted seperately because it will not let me respond. I am signed in,
but when I go to post a reply it says I am not signed in. However, I can post
a new topic. Here is my specific problem of something I can not do. I need
one window to
be the gnatt chart, the other split to be the task rollup with the gnatt
chart. Another split needs to be the resource usage, with yet another being
the day by day feature of looking at resources' working hours. I have not
found a way to do this or to do the following: have one side of the split be
the gnatt chart, while the other side is the resource usage summary. I need
to view it at least this way and have not been able to find a way. The bottom
split is very limited in what it can be. I do not know of a way to pick what
it shows and if you can pick, to pick any of the other views you want.

You are limited to two splits. One view on top and one view on the bottom.
The bottom shows the details for the view on the top.

To determine what the bottom pane shows click anywhere on it. The bar at the
left of the view should change color (probably to blue if you have default
windows settings) to show it is the active view. Once it is active select
the view you want from the view menu.

It sounds like you might want gantt view on the top and task usage on the
bottom.
You could also have resource sheet on the top and resource usage on the
bottom. Or resource usage on the top and gantt view on the bottom.

Try it out and see if anything is close to what you want.

There is no way to have more than two views at the same time.

Hi Jim

You could also open another Window (Window/New Window) with the same project
and Arrange All to see them displayed on the same screen.
