Views Processing is not clearing the files in VIEW DROP Folder

We are using Project Server 2003. Installed using simple installation 1
server for application server and 1 server for database.

We noticed that, Views Notify service (VWNotify.exe) is not clearing the
files in VIEWDROP Folder since 10/22.
1) I restarted "Project Server Views Notification Service"
2) I see that memory usage for VWNotify.Exe is growing
3) Following other Project Server Services
(a) Project Server Scheduled Process Service
(b) Project Server Session Mgr Service
(c) Project Server Tracing Service
are running.

What would be the issue, and what should I check to make sure all the pieces
required for View Notification Service to work...

Kishore,

If the first XML is not able to update the Viewtables, It stops the others
XMLs also, Remove all the XMLs from the ViewDrop folder & restart the
ViewNotification service, Once Its started, try putting one by one XML. If
its not able to process first XML, then do the same steps > Restart the
ViewNotification service, & Now put the second XML (on the basis of
timestamp).

Amit: Thank you for your reply.

I restarted Project Server Views Notification Service yesterday evening
before leaving work, and it skipped first 2 files and processed all other
files. But, I will use your idea next time if it ever happens.
