Hello,
I have a question regarding Access reports and memory usage. I have a ~250
page report that I would like to save in Snapshot format. The save works,
however, it takes roughly 900MB of virtual memory to complete. The report,
saved in Snapshot format, is 3.8 MB in size. Why does it take 900MB of
virtual memory/RAM to create a 3.8MB report? Am I doing something wrong
with my reports?
The report is not overly complex: 3 subreports, minimal formatting, no
pictures, some lines and boxes, not much data. The report takes seconds to
run and produce the first page, but if I navigate to the last page I wait
8-10 minutes and eat up 900MB of RAM/virtual memory to get there.
Any info. would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Gary
