Virus in outlook

I think I have a virus. I have a lot of files in my outlook folder. The
file extension are listed below, can you tell me if any of this are not
needed or a virus. We use "MS Outlook Connector" to sync with our hotmail
account and I notice that we have alot of personal and offline .pst files
that has our email account names with a lot of numbers after it (
(e-mail address removed)-00000002 )

..MLOG
..OBI
..DAT

From a file extension you cannot determine if something is a virus or not.
If you suspect any of those infected why not simply scan them with a virus
scanner?
