Virus protection

Could someone please tell me how to stop Office XP
programs from "requesting a virus scan" every time they
start?

I've looked through the Options & Security menus for the
programs but other than macro settings (which I've also
toggled) I've drawn a blank.

Hi Jannoth,

It's actually a message coming from your Norton Antivirus software. If you turn off the Office Plug in setting in Norton the
requests will stop.
