virus scan in Word 2007, no Norton installed

Hi

I have a virus scan issue when opening Word docs. I read on various forums
that this is due to Norton, and the feature can be disabled.

However, I don't have Norton installed. I have Sophos 7.6 and can't find a
similar feature to disable.

Any advise would be appreciated.
