Virus Scan

Whenever I start OfficeXP Word, I get a "Requesting virus scan..." message,
even with no document present!
I believe that this started happening after a recent update/patch.
Does someone know of a way to disable this "feature?"

Try disabling the Norton AntiVirus Office plugin if you have that installed.

Please respond in the same thread on this newsgroup. Make sure you
include details of your application and Windows versions, and whether
or not you have included any service pack updates.

I am running Norton SystemWorks Pro 2003 and I cannot find any reference to
an Office plugin either here
or under Word. Is there somewhere specific you think I should look?
