VisBasic / Office97 Data Base does not run in XP / Access2002

I have a data base built with Visual Basic and Off97
MSAccess. After upgrading to WinXP and Office XP
Professional, the data base macros run ok, but not the
funcions. Any recommendation, please
advise...........thanks
