Visio 07 and Word 07

Hi,

New to Visio and don't really know if I should post this here or in the Word
ng's.
so here goes.
Is there a way to take a Office Visio .vsd and export it to Word, so
that I can add text, or the other way around, can I insert a Word doc into
a Visio .vsd?
Both 2007,btw.

You can copy and paste as a static picture or as an embedded object.
Unfortunately, there is no way to do editing in the other application.

Thanks for the quick follow-up.
Bummer though,
guess I'll need to do it another way.
What I needed was the diagram I built in Visio, and the ability to add
text in more areas than just the diagram.

When you insert the drawing within Word, you can set the Word wrap so that
it does not go around the drawing.

Basically use the Visio drawing as a background.
