Visio 2000 and HTML: How to send an HTML file?

I understand how Visio creates numerous files in the "Save As HTML"
process. (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;286117#kb2)

I have created 2 HTML files from Visio 2000 that are linked to one
another. They work fine on my machine. However, I want to email these
files to someone else. I did, and they don't work--presumably because
they require all of the other files on my machine.

If I want to email these 2 HTML files, do I have to send all of this
"baggage" too, and then ask the recipient to save each file in the
same directory for it to work? Isn't there a better way?

Thanks in advance--

That's kinda the way HTML works. There are of course other solutions for
sharing documents with those that do not have visio. (ex. visio viewer to
read the real file, save as svg if you are at v2003 since svg viewers are
also available)
