Visio 2000 crash opening some file with vbe6 error

Hi
We have some VSD files that Visio2000 will not open. It crashes with a
vbe6.dll error. Not all files have this problem.. only some.

When i remove vbe6.dll file, then its fine. However, we need this file for
other apps.
I have tested with various version of vbe6.dll, and they all have the problem.

Has anyone else experienced this?

One workaround for me was to uncheck the "Enable Microsoft Visual Basic for
applications" check box in Advanced Option. However, is this the right way to
go?
